Book Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I finished Bad Blood in two days… and whew 😮💨
This book had me locked in from start to finish. What began as a story about innovation and ambition slowly unraveled into something much darker. The way Elizabeth Holmes built an entire empire on deception while real patients were put at risk was honestly disturbing.
As someone in healthcare, the scariest part wasn’t the fraud itself, but how many powerful people ignored the red flags. Image, hype, and money were prioritized over ethics and patient safety, and that is the part that stuck with me the most.
The writing is fast-paced, easy to follow, and feels almost unreal like you’re reading fiction, but it’s not. It’s a reminder that charisma is not the same as competence, and unchecked ambition can cause real harm.
