New Moon Energy
I’ve noticed old addictions wanting to pop up for me of late.
.
Some of them come through as cravings or urges. Truly, I’m trying to figure out how to manage them because for whatever reason after years of not caring for them they are coming in hot.
Though… using other addictions like coffee and sweets, have soften the blow.
.
Like anyone else I go through my own phases and am currently preparing for the next one. Need to let go of that which is still within me in order to allow the new to come in.
Best of luck, my friends!!

Experiencing old addictions or cravings suddenly reappear can be a surprising challenge, especially during significant energy phases like the New Moon. Many of us go through cycles where certain urges feel stronger or more persistent than usual. In my personal journey, I've found that acknowledging these cravings without judgment is the first step to managing them effectively. For example, when strong urges arise, sometimes leaning into gentler habits like enjoying a cup of coffee or a sweet treat can provide a healthy distraction, reducing the intensity of the craving without causing harm. The New Moon energy is often considered a powerful time for setting intentions and shedding what no longer serves us. This aligns well with the process of releasing old patterns, including addictive behaviors. Preparing for a new phase means being honest about what parts of ourselves need to be let go and creating space for growth. It’s a reminder that transformation isn't always immediate—it often requires patience and kindness towards ourselves. Incorporating mindfulness practices, such as journaling about your urges or meditating on your goals, can deepen self-awareness during this time. Also, engaging with like-minded communities through hashtags like #newmoon, #energyupdate, and #messagefromtheuniverse can provide additional support and shared wisdom. Remember that overcoming these challenges is a personal path, and embracing the subtle energies around us can enhance our ability to navigate these shifts with grace and resilience.
