POV you get hired at ULTA

I applied to work at ULTA when I was 21. When I got the call back from the manager she said “Ok, you’re hired. Lancôme training is 1 week in NYC. Have fun!”

I had no idea what I was signing up for but I had so much fun. I learned so much about skin, makeup, formulation, marketing, and product in my training. I was able to take that back and be a very successful beauty advisor.

I now hold a position in a completely different field, but in my personal life I will always be grateful for that experience.
