Beautiful & Beginner Friendly Hike on Oahu

One of my favorite hikes on O‘ahu is Manoa Falls. In the back of Mānoa Valley, the falls trail is a beautiful and easy level hike. It is a great one for beginners to hike and the nature and greenery is very lovely.

Mānoa Falls Trail is only 1.6 miles roundtrip making it a nice and short hike for all levels of hikers. It goes a little uphill at some points but nothing challenging.

The trail opens at 8am and it costs $7 to park. There is a lot of parking and a shop at the base of the bike to also explore.

The hike is shaded which makes it nice when it is a hot day. Mānoa can be rainy so that is something to keep in mind. Make sure to have shoes with good grip and bring anything you’d want to have just in case there is rainfall.
