How I Remove My Makeup
This is how I personally like to remove my makeup. I have to do my routine or I won’t be able to sleep well.
1. This step is optional but I feel weird just using an oil or balm to remove my makeup. I like to be thorough so I use a makeup wipe FIRST to remove the bulk of it off of my face.
2. I use an oil based cleanser or balm to remove the remainder of the makeup off of my face. Do not apply on wet skin. This should be massaged on your dry face. Then rinse.
3. I then follow up with a water based cleanser and my skin brush to deeply clean my face to prep for the next step.
4. This step is also optional since I only mask once a week. After pat drying my face, I apply a clay mask to detox my skin. I let it sit for 10-15 mins and rinse with lukewarm or cool water. Then pat dry again.
5. I tone my face to remove any lingering impurities, hydrate my face, and balance my skins ph.
6. I apply my eye cream or serums if I’m currently using any.
7. I moisturize my face and neck completely.
8. Done! Time for bed! 😴
