Really save money🌸

I am moving out in a few weeks, I’m 18 years old. I just bought my first car. Here are the things that genuinely helped me to save my money, read through this if you want to learn as well!

First tip: I used a cash stuffing binder, I have it linked in my storefront in my bio! it’s pink and it’s my favorite color. It comes with stickers and labels so you can pick where you want your money to go. This helped me a lot because I’m taking the money off of my card and putting it in a separate binder. It also helped me because I loved seeing the money grow and I was able to see my progress in person. Basically you pick an amount that you want to save every paycheck or weekly or whatever. And then you just start to save! This is helpful if seeing your progress helps you to discipline yourself to do it.

Second tip: I used a budget planner. I have mine in my storefront as well. You write down your monthly expenses, how much they cost and when they are due. You put a spending budget, and write how much you spent that month. It’s nice to see how much you’re genuinely spending and what you spend your most money on. This way, you know what you should cut down on.

Tip 3: between my husband and I we work two jobs, as well as, I DoorDash as a side hustle. DoorDash pays off and it helps me a lot. I can make anywhere from $30-80 extra dollars a day!

Tip 4: make a plan of how much you want to save, how much you want to spend, and how much you need to spend. So basically, savings, necessities, and then wants or extra spending money for dates or fast food or whatever! Stick to it and do not go over budget for coffee or fast food or something you see that you really want at the store. You can save for that and plan it in next month’s budget.

I hope this helps y’all as much as it did me!

... Read moreAs young adults transition into financial independence, learning effective money management strategies is crucial. One popular method is cash stuffing, which involves dividing cash into labeled envelopes or binders for different spending categories. This visual approach helps individuals track their savings for future goals, such as a new car or travel. A budget planner is another essential tool; it helps users map out all their monthly expenses and spending habits, allowing them to identify areas for potential savings. Setting clear financial goals, like saving for a major purchase, is important. Young adults often find success in side hustles, such as DoorDash, which can supplement their income significantly. The side hustle economy offers flexible opportunities, enabling individuals to earn $30-80 daily by working on their schedule. By diligently tracking savings goals and understanding when to spend on necessities versus luxuries, young adults can achieve financial stability while enjoying their newfound independence. Emphasizing the difference between needs and wants is key to sustainable budgeting practices, creating fulfilling financial futures.

You are right every little bit helps I used you my original income from my job and pay my bills first and anything left over, I put it towards something that needs paid off. Then I do plasma donating and DoorDash as side hustles as well as flipping stuff directly towards debt and guilt free spending
