Give it to God
Many of us face emotional exhaustion from fighting battles that aren't ours to fight. From my experience, surrendering these struggles to God can be a transformative practice. Instead of carrying heavy burdens in your mind after praying, try fully leaving the problem in God’s hands. This doesn’t mean passivity but trusting that God will work it out in His perfect timing. I've found that when I ceased overthinking and accepted that some situations were beyond my control, my anxiety diminished. Jesus reminded us not to worry about life itself, which can be a powerful reminder in times of stress. By praying and then consciously releasing the issue, I could rest in the peace He gives—something that felt elusive before. This practice isn’t a quick fix but a daily intentional choice to trust God’s sovereignty over your circumstances. It takes time and faith, but over time, you gain emotional resilience and clarity. It’s also important to recognize which battles are yours and which aren’t—this awareness prevents unnecessary struggle. Embracing this mindset has helped me maintain peace even in challenging times, reinforcing that God’s support is always near when we choose to give our worries to Him.
