Becoming a GYM GIRLIE
There’s so many things that have played a role in me being consistent in the gym
1. CONFIDENCE: after my last relationship I was surprisingly motivated to be better for my self. It wasn’t to get a revenge body or anything. I was 215-220lbs, I was very unhappy every time I took a picture and saw how “FAT” my face was or just how my stomach was bulging out. The gym however is the place I feel the most confident.
***When I go to the gym, it’s a fashion show for me, LOOK GOOD, FEEL GOOD, it doesn’t hurt to be someone’s eye candy 😂
2. CONSISTENCY- for the first 6 months, i didn’t see progress. I started taking seriously in July, 2023. In December I was still 215 pounds. I was so confused because I was going to the gym 5 days a week and still nothing. I pushed through it however, showing up for myself even though the scale said otherwise
3. EATING RIGHT: I took the caloric deficit TOO seriously come January. I was eating roughly 600cal - 1000cal per day (DON’T DO THIS PLEASE). Buttttt, it worked for me, I started to see the numbers go down to roughly 205 lbs. and lower and lower. Till I got stuck at 200 lbs and no matter how little I ate ,it just didn’t work. Then I tried a no carb diet worked for a little bit, then stopped again. This is still something I’m trying to figure out💋. Now I eat whatever I want tbh, just in moderation 💋New York
4. SETTING GOALS: this is a bit tricky because when you set time based goals and don’t get there within the time you set for yourself, it can play games with your mental yk? But it worked for me. I wanted to be down 30 lbs by the end of the year and i hit that in June!!!! Now im maintaining l, maybe loose 5-10 more? We’ll see🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ but im very content with where I’m at
