Day 1 of my carnivore journey (again)
Steak and eggs for breakfast yesss please. I’m restarting my carnivore diet and hopefully I don’t fall back off. If you are just getting started or have been doing this for a long time message me and we can share recipes and help keep each other on track. 😂😂 🥩 🥩 Alabama #carnivore #breakfast #carnivorechallenge #carnivorerecipe #carnivorelife
Starting over on any diet can feel daunting, but it's also a chance to reset and get things right. My first attempt at the carnivore diet definitely taught me a lot, mainly about the importance of planning and having a strong support system. This time, I’m really committed to seeing those 30-day carnivore diet results everyone talks about! One of the biggest lessons I learned is that preparation is key, especially for the first week or two. For breakfast, my go-to is often scrambled eggs with some delicious pan-fried dark brown meat pieces, just like what you see on my plate today. It's simple, satisfying, and keeps me full until lunch. But for long-term success, I know I need variety within the carnivore framework. I'm planning to experiment with different cuts of steak, ground beef, bacon, and maybe even some fatty fish like salmon or sardines. Thinking ahead about my meals helps prevent falling back into old habits, which was a huge challenge for me before. For anyone else aiming for solid 30-day results, here are a few things I'm focusing on this time around. Firstly, hydration is crucial. I'm making sure to drink plenty of water, and I’m also adding electrolytes, especially during the initial adaptation phase, to avoid that 'keto flu' feeling. Secondly, I'm going to track my progress more diligently, not just weight, but also how I feel – my energy levels, sleep quality, and mental clarity. These non-scale victories are often the most motivating! It’s incredible how much better you can feel when your body is getting exactly what it needs. Another big one is listening to my body. If I'm craving something, I'll try to identify if it's true hunger or just a habit. Often, a fatty piece of meat or some more eggs can satisfy that craving. Don't be afraid to eat until you're truly satiated. I’m also going to lean on the community more. Connecting with others on the same journey, sharing recipes, and getting encouragement can make a huge difference. If you have any go-to carnivore recipes or tips for staying on track, especially for hitting that 30-day mark, please send them my way! We can totally support each other. I'm particularly excited about the potential benefits I've read about for the 30-day mark – increased energy, improved digestion, clearer skin, and even better mental focus. While the initial days can be tough as your body adjusts, pushing through to that one-month milestone often brings significant rewards. My goal is to make this round a sustainable lifestyle change, not just a temporary diet, and I truly believe focusing on these strategies will help me achieve significant positive changes within the next month and beyond.
