Wat Pak Nam is known as the "Superb View Temple" in Thailand.
It is a historical royal temple founded in the Ayutthaya period, but the emerald green ceiling painting of the Raibutsu Sarihoanto on the top floor of the white Great Buddha Pagoda built in recent years was as beautiful as outer space ✨
The pagoda is made by piling up glass, the glasswork lotus Hana, the decoration of the snake god Naga, and a small Buddhist statue at the top.

私が「wat paknam（ワットパクナム）」を調べてから行ってみて感じたのは、“写真のきれいさ”だけじゃなく、現地での動き方を知っておくと満足度が一気に上がるということでした。ここでは、初めての人が迷いやすいポイントを中心に補足します。 まず、見学の流れは「寺院に到着 → 白い大仏塔（プラマハーチェディマハーラッチャモンコン）へ → 上階へ上がって天井画 → ほかのフロアも回る」がおすすめです。エメラルドグリーンの天井画は最上階がハイライトですが、途中の階にもガラス細工の装飾や蓮のモチーフがあって、意外と足を止める場所が多いです。結果的に私は“上だけ見てすぐ帰る”だと絶対もったいないと思いました。 所要時間の目安は、写真を撮りつつサクッとなら1時間前後、じっくり派なら1.5〜2時間くらいあると安心です。混み具合によっては最上階で順番待ちっぽくなることもあるので、午前中の早い時間（開門直後〜10時台）を狙うと落ち着いて見られる印象でした。 アクセスは、MRTで近くまで行けるのが助かります。ただ、駅から寺院までは「最後のひと区間」が分かりにくいことがあるので、暑い時期や土地勘がない場合は無理せずタクシー／配車アプリを併用するのが楽でした。帰りだけタクシーにするのも全然アリで、体力温存できます。 服装は本当に大事で、寺院は神聖な場所なので露出は控えめが安心です。私は念のため薄手の羽織りをバッグに入れて行きました。肩が出るトップスや短すぎるボトムだと入れない可能性もあるので、現地で焦らないように準備しておくとスムーズです。 撮影については、静かに見学している人が多いので、会話は小さめ＆立ち止まる時は通路を塞がないのがマナー。天井画を撮るときはつい夢中になりますが、譲り合うと気持ちよく回れます。 最後に、現地で見かける注意書き（英語で「Do Not …」のような掲示）もあるので、禁止事項はその場で確認しながら行動すると安心です。ワットパクナム（Wat Paknam）は、バンコクで“絶景寺院”と呼ばれる理由がちゃんとある場所でした。行く前にこのあたりを押さえておくと、満足度が上がると思います。
