⭐️ Nextdoor - I don’t find things on here often, but when I do, they’re usually really good prices because they come from older neighbors who are just trying to get rid of stuff and aren’t characterizing things as antique or vintage
⭐️ Mercari - I love “online Thrifting “. I find eBay very overwhelming, but Mercari is so simple and I love scrolling on the app. I find so many really cool things there for great prices and have had consistently great experiences with sellers shipping really quickly.
⭐️ My relatives – especially Grandma. This brass table has been sitting in an extra room in her home for a couple years when I finally inquired about it, and she said that she didn’t even realize it was still there and thought it was too heavy for anyone to move. Yes it was extremely heavy but now I have a treasure to always remember her in my living room.
⭐️ Vintage Shops- I love the thrill of a hunt, but nothing beats the treasures found in an already curated vintage or antique shop. You are paying for someone to find clean style advertise, and curate a selection of items! The ballerina painting is from a shop in Raleigh, North Carolina and I love it with my whole heart.
