This small habit allows me to ask myself important questions such as: Is this information true? Is it helpful or simply designed to provoke an emotional reaction? Is the source credible? This conscious pause has helped me develop digital maturity and emotional discipline, essential skills when navigating the AI-driven information age. Instead of being swept away by viral content, I feel more in control of my attention and decisions. Over time, this practice has boosted my critical thinking and enabled me to participate in online spaces more responsibly. I recommend making this a daily habit—not just for avoiding misinformation but as a way to empower your ability to think independently and make informed decisions.
