Hi guys! I’m an aspiring influencer/You-tuber. Follow me on my journey in becoming one🩷

Okay, guys, it's finally happening! I'm officially embarking on my YouTube creator journey. I've been dreaming about this for so long, and honestly, Day 1 feels surreal. I wanted to share this raw, unedited beginning with you all because I know so many of us aspire to build something online. You might be wondering, 'Why now?' For me, it's about sharing my college lifestyle, the ups and downs, the fun moments, and hopefully, inspiring some of you along the way. I want to build a community and connect beyond just my Instagram feed. This isn't just about making videos; it's about embracing a whole new creator lifestyle where I can share my passions and daily life. It feels like a big step, but a really exciting one! One of the biggest 'essentials' I've realized isn't gear, but mindset. It's about being consistent, authentic, and not being afraid to put myself out there. I'm telling myself it's okay to start small and learn as I go. There’s no perfect moment, just the moment you decide to start. I’m really focusing on enjoying the process and not getting too caught up in perfection from the get-go. Of course, there are some practical essentials too. For Day 1, I'm literally just using my phone and natural light. I've seen so many successful YouTubers start this way, proving you don't need fancy equipment to begin. Eventually, I'd love to get a better camera and microphone to enhance my VLOGS, but for now, the best camera is the one you have with you, right? I'm trying to be resourceful and make do with what I have to tell my story. My first idea is to just document my college life – daily vlogs, study routines, dorm tours, maybe even some 'what I eat in a day' content. I think sharing authentic college experiences is something a lot of people can relate to. I'm focusing on creating vlogs that show my real lifestyle, not just the highlights reel. I want to give you a genuine look at what it's like. I've also realized that even for Day 1, a little planning goes a long way. I'm not overthinking it, but I've jotted down a few video ideas and thought about a basic schedule to keep myself accountable. It’s all part of this learning journey. I'm hoping to share my journey, including the struggles and triumphs, as I navigate this new world of content creation. It’s going to be a wild ride! So, this is just the beginning! I'm excited and a little nervous, but mostly ready for this adventure. What are your tips for new YouTubers? Or what kind of college vlogs would you love to see? Let me know in the comments! Wish me luck on this YouTube creator journey!
