I rather see this from my clients then to get text messages that my clients lashes came out 2 days after lashing them
As a lash technician, I’ve found that one of the most rewarding parts of my job is hearing directly from my clients about their positive experiences. It’s much better to receive compliments or constructive feedback in person than to get a text message saying their lashes fell out only days after the appointment. Early lash loss can be frustrating for both the client and the technician because it often signals that something might have gone wrong along the process, whether it’s due to improper aftercare, product choice, or application technique. From personal experience, educating clients on how to care for their extensions after the appointment greatly reduces these issues. Simple tips, such as avoiding oil-based products near the lashes, not rubbing or pulling on them, and gently cleansing the eye area, make a huge difference in lash retention. Additionally, recommending regular fills and advising against harsh lash removals can extend the life of the extensions and preserve the natural lashes. It’s also important to address lash removals with care. The process, while necessary at times, is one that most lash techs dislike because it can potentially damage natural lashes if done incorrectly. Taking time to explain safe removal methods or offering professional removal services builds trust and encourages clients to maintain their lash health. Ultimately, open communication between lash technicians and clients creates better outcomes. When clients understand the right care steps and feel comfortable discussing any concerns, it makes the entire experience more satisfying. For lash artists, prioritizing client education and aftercare guidance is key to reducing early lash fallout and building a loyal clientele.
