Been feeling the absolute worse… my body feels inflamed, my weight is fluctuating 5-10lbs from a single meal and my workouts have been simply poop. I owe myself this.

... Read moreIt's been a long time coming, but the feeling of waking up absolutely drained, inflamed, and just generally unwell finally hit its breaking point. My body has felt completely out of sync – one meal could swing my weight by 5-10 pounds, and my workouts? Forget about it, they were consistently showing up empty. I knew I needed a drastic change, something that would challenge me physically and mentally, and that's why I’m diving headfirst into the 75 Day Hard challenge. This isn't just about weight loss; it's about reclaiming my health, my energy, and my self-discipline. For anyone unfamiliar, 75 Day Hard is a rigorous mental toughness program. It involves following a strict diet, working out twice a day (one session outdoors, no matter what!), drinking a gallon of water, reading 10 pages of a non-fiction book, and taking a progress picture every single day. There are no cheat meals, no alcohol, and no skipping days. If you miss one rule, you start over from Day 1. It sounds intense, and it absolutely is, but that's exactly the kind of reset I'm craving. My current weight sits at 143 lbs, and while the scale isn't my only focus, my goal is to consistently get down to a healthy and strong 135 lbs. More importantly, I want to feel vibrant and energized again. This journey isn't just about shedding pounds; it's about building sustainable habits and mental resilience. My fitness journey is about to get a serious upgrade. I’ve already started planning my meals to align with my chosen diet, ensuring I have healthy, nourishing food prepared to avoid any temptations. The thought of those two daily workouts, especially the outdoor one in any weather, is daunting. But I'm picturing myself in that gym locker room, taking my mirror selfie in my black crop top and blue leggings, seeing the progress unfold. Those daily progress pictures will be crucial for motivation, a visual reminder of how far I've come. I'm arming myself with an inspiring non-fiction book to fuel my mind, and my water bottle will be my constant companion. I know there will be days when motivation dips, when my body cries out for a break, or when a social event tempts me with forbidden treats. But this time, I’m committed. I owe myself this transformation, this push towards a healthier, happier me. This isn't just a physical challenge; it's a profound mental and emotional overhaul. I'm ready to embrace the discomfort, celebrate the small victories, and emerge on the other side stronger, both inside and out. Wish me luck on this incredible journey – I'll be sharing updates along the way!
