Once just a name

There was a time when she was just a name in my notes app; just a dream, a hope, a tiny spark of love that hadn’t yet come to life. And now here she is, five months old, full of giggles, personality, and light. I still can’t believe how quickly the time has passed. My little girl isn’t quite as little as she used to be…she’s growing stronger, braver, and more curious every single day.

It feels like just yesterday I was feeling her tiny kicks, imagining what her face might look like. Now I get to see that sweet face every morning, feel her tiny fingers wrap around mine, and hear her laugh fill our home. Watching her grow has been the greatest joy of my life, even though part of me wishes I could pause time and keep her small just a little longer.
