A few of my new 🌱 plants

... Read moreAdding new plants to my indoor garden has been such a rewarding experience, especially with unique varieties like the Hoya Rosita and Cebu Blue Variegated. These plants not only add lush greenery but also bring a fascinating diversity in leaf shape and color. I found that giving them bright, indirect light and maintaining moderate humidity really helps them thrive. The Monstera Peru and Philodendron Green Congo I introduced recently have also been great additions. I was surprised at how quickly the Monstera Peru developed its signature textured foliage. It’s important for me to water these plants only when the top inch of soil feels dry to avoid overwatering, which is a common mistake among indoor gardeners. If you’re starting a collection, I’d recommend focusing on the care requirements for each plant type as they can vary significantly. For example, Hoyas prefer a bit less water and well-draining soil, while Monsteras can handle a bit more moisture. Watching the leaves for signs of distress—like yellowing or wilting—is a helpful way to adjust care routines. Sharing my journey with these plants has not only brought me joy but also connected me to a community of fellow plant lovers who exchange tips and encourage each other’s growth. If you’re thinking of adding some new greenery to your space, consider these beautiful species for their unique textures and ease of care. Happy planting!
