It’s been two days since we laid my brother to rest, and the services were beautiful.

I’m still not myself — I even ended up at urgent care after the mass with a scratched cornea, swollen eye, and a lot of emotions. But I keep reminding myself that everything happens for a reason.

To everyone who came, reached out, or prayed for my family — thank you. Your love has carried us through these days.
