2month old Bedtime Routine 💤
We’re just getting to a point where we are attempting a schedule so here’s a loose example of how our bedtime routine goes! It’s so fun that he is now recognizing routines and smiling more and we are loving the longer stretches of sleep! He usually sleeps for 5-6 hours and wakes up hungry, we change him, and back to sleep for a couple more hours, etc. hope this is helpful!

Establishing a successful bedtime routine for your 2-month-old can significantly improve sleep quality. Newborns often take some time to adjust to schedules, but with consistency, they can learn to recognize cues for bedtime. To create a nurturing atmosphere, start by introducing calming activities such as a gentle bath around 8:55 PM, allowing your baby to relax and unwind. At 9:16 PM, prepare the room with dim lighting from a red nightlight, soft white noise, and blackout curtains to create a soothing sleep environment. Follow this with bedtime prayers and story time from 9:17 to 9:25 PM, helping foster a sense of security and bonding. Finally, from 9:25 to 9:35 PM, gently rock, walk, or bounce your baby to sleep before placing them down around 9:40 PM. This structured approach not only aids in solid sleep patterns but also supports emotional and cognitive development as your baby grows. Embrace this precious time, and you'll find that establishing consistency is key to a happy sleep routine.
