Each town around Lake Atitlán offers a unique vibe and activity suitable for different interests and age groups. For example, San Juan La Laguna is a creative hub where we enjoyed vibrant murals and visited weaving cooperatives. It was fascinating to watch artisans at work, and the chocolate tastings were a big hit with the kids. For families looking for relaxation and mindfulness, San Marcos La Laguna provides a serene atmosphere with yoga sessions and cacao ceremonies that can be a refreshing cultural experience for everyone.
