Don’t have a big budget for decorations? One simple and affordable way to make a “big statement/improvement”, is to paint. Do it yourself. To me, painting the doors and moldings, throughout my house, made everything look a little better.

If you can’t do all of the big projects right now, start with a little something. In my case, I’ve learned that making a little progress, towards my big goal, helps to elevate some of my big feelings of defeat and helplessness.
