March 15- Sun Reset
ADHD HACK: ✨️
Make things fun.
special reminders
time frames for informed decisions and help with executive dysfunction
always in the sight line 👀
From my own experience managing ADHD, incorporating fun into routine tasks really changes the game. When I treat chores as small challenges or games, they become less overwhelming and more engaging. I also rely heavily on visual supports, like placing reminders and to-do lists where I can constantly see them—on the fridge, next to the door, or digitally pinned on my phone's home screen. This 'always in sight line' approach helps reduce the chances of forgetting important tasks. Additionally, setting specific time frames for activities is key. For example, I often allocate 15-minute windows for sorting laundry or tidying up certain areas, which breaks the task into manageable parts and lessens decision fatigue. Tools like timers or alarms reinforce these time frames, prompting me to stay on track and make better-informed decisions about what to prioritize next. I’ve found that balancing structure with flexibility—making the process fun yet clear—greatly improves my executive functioning. If you struggle with executive dysfunction, adopting these strategies may help you feel more in control during your weekly reset rituals. Remember, the goal is progress, not perfection, and using creativity in your approach can make all the difference.
