You won’t believe the secret behind my inner peace

It’s God. A relationship with God is paramount. Our relationship with Christ is PRIMARY ; every other relationship can flow out of that. Christ can be the Lens through which we see all other relationships. Matthew 22:37-40. Love God first and out of that you can love others. One love flows out of the other. Matthew 6:33

I have learnt to love myself and how to love others because of the understanding of the love that God has for his entire creation.

One of the most powerful signs I've experienced is a deep sense of trust and surrender. When I truly lean into my faith, I find myself worrying less about the future and dwelling less on the past. It’s like a quiet whisper telling me that everything will be okay, regardless of external circumstances. This trust allows me to approach challenges with a calm resolve, knowing I'm not alone. It’s a feeling of being anchored, even when the storms of life rage around me. Another clear sign for me is an increased capacity for love and compassion, both for myself and for others. Before finding this peace, I often struggled with self-criticism and judgment. Now, I see myself and those around me through a different lens – one of understanding and acceptance. This isn't just about being 'nice'; it's about a genuine, heartfelt empathy that makes my interactions more meaningful and less fraught with tension. I've learned that true self-love isn't selfish; it's the foundation from which authentic love for others can flow. I also notice a significant reduction in overthinking and anxiety. My mind used to race, constantly analyzing and predicting. Now, I find myself more present, able to savor moments rather than rushing through them or mentally rehearsing future scenarios. This presence allows me to appreciate the simple joys: a beautiful sunset, a warm cup of tea, or a genuine conversation. It’s a freedom from the constant chatter of the mind. Gratitude becomes a natural state when you experience inner peace. Instead of focusing on what’s lacking, I automatically find myself thankful for what I have. This shift in perspective transforms challenges into opportunities and everyday experiences into blessings. It's not about ignoring difficulties, but about maintaining an underlying current of thankfulness that sustains me through them. Finally, a powerful sign of inner peace is the ability to maintain composure amidst chaos. Life doesn't stop throwing curveballs, but how I react to them has fundamentally changed. Instead of immediate frustration or panic, there's a pause, a moment to breathe and respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively. This doesn't mean I don't feel emotions, but they no longer control me. These signs aren't just abstract concepts; they are tangible shifts in my daily experience. They've taught me that inner peace is an ongoing journey, nurtured by faith, self-love, and mindful living. And sometimes, even a change of scenery, like enjoying the serene views of the ocean or finding a moment of quiet reflection, can complement this inner work. It's about finding that deep well of calm within, no matter where you are or what's happening around you.
