Never thought I would visit India but I enjoyed it
✨ Whirlwind India Trip 💃🕌🍛
📍 Delhi – Agra – Jaipur
India was truly an experience — full of colour, chaos, culture, and SO many unforgettable moments ✨
We flew into Delhi for our friend’s wedding and kicked things off at the ITC Maurya — a super grand hotel that feels like it belongs to diplomats (because it kinda does).
✅ Plush rooms, white-glove service
🍽️ Don’t miss Bukhara, their famous restaurant — the dal and kebabs live up to the hype 😮💨
While in Delhi, we also squeezed in some sightseeing:
🏰 Red Fort – massive Mughal-era fortress with stunning gates and intricate detailing — definitely worth walking through.
⚰️ Humayun’s Tomb – peaceful, symmetrical and less crowded than the Taj. It’s said to have inspired the Taj Mahal, and you can see why!
Then we moved to the Leela Palace Delhi… and WOW 😍
Think: modern-day royal fantasy
💫 High ceilings, chandeliers, rich fabrics everywhere
🛏️ Our room was huge, with old-school luxury vibes
☀️ The rooftop pool was a dream after hot afternoons
🍸 Multiple bars + restaurants meant we barely had to leave!
The wedding itself was the heart of the trip — 2 days of dancing, outfits, food, and endless fun 🎉💃

Agra Day Trip 🇮🇳
After the wedding, we hired a private driver and headed to Agra
🛣️ ~3.5–4 hours from Delhi
🏛️ Finally saw the Taj Mahal and yes, it’s that breathtaking in person — delicate, massive, and glowing at sunset 🤍

Jaipur Diaries 🧡 — 4 Days in the Pink City
We spent around 3 days in Jaipur, and it was the perfect mix of regal and rugged 👑🌸
We visited:
🏰 Amber Fort – absolutely stunning, built into the hills. Highlights included the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), elephant gate, courtyards, and hilltop views.
👑 City Palace – beautifully detailed with Mughal + Rajput architecture. Don’t miss the Peacock Gate, royal courtyard, and armoury museum inside.
🐒 We also checked out Galta Ji Temple (Monkey Palace) — looked like a scene from Temple Run (seriously), but it was kinda filthy… probably skippable unless you’re feeling adventurous 😅
🏛️ We popped by the Albert Hall Museum too — honestly, it was okay but nothing to shout about. If you’re short on time, you can skip it.
🍽️ Had lunch at Rambagh Palace and it was literally like stepping into Alice in Wonderland — whimsical gardens, vintage decor, peacocks roaming around. Total fairytale ✨🦚
📸 Of course, no Jaipur trip is complete without soaking in the pink buildings — from Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) to the pastel streets of the old city. Everything is photo-ready 💕

👀 You’ll definitely get stared at, and we had people follow us more than once
💼 That said: staying at grand hotels and hiring a private driver made it all manageable, even enjoyable
It was an eye-opening trip — unlike anywhere else we’ve been. And if you’re into culture, history, and once-in-a-lifetime weddings… India is unforgettable 💫
