Story time pregnancy edition

Okay so here’s a horror story

On November 5, 2022 I was in my kitchen cooking dinner and on FaceTime with my mom . She also helping me with my meal. I was eight months pregnant at the time . I literally went my whole pregnancy with out a scar . No stretching marks, bruises etc. I was however having a hard pregnancy because I couldn’t eat or drink anything with throwing up 🤮 my morning sickness lasted the whole pregnancy. I was getting fluid weekly because of this. Anyway I placed my potatoes in my instapot pressure cooker for 15mins. I went to take a shower while these were cooking . I got out the shower literally right as the pressure cooker finished. Once I got out the bathroom I went to the kitchen to release the pressure from the machine as your supposed to do. While the pressure was releasing I went to my bedroom to put on some comfortable clothes which was a sports bra and shorts 🤣🤣🤣 mind you I’m 8 months pregnant took me a while . I come back to the kitchen to finish the potatoes and the machine was done releasing pressure and at this point on 5 min warm setting bc I was taking to long. In the process of going to the kitchen I calIed my back for further instructions after they were done. I went to twist the lid and BOOM 💥 the machine exploded!! Boiling hot water all over me . I started crying yelling jumping. My boyfriend then came out the game wrong running and yelling what’s wrong. I was on fire 🔥 I couldn’t get out my mouth what happened from all the screaming I was doing . But he notice I was super read from head to toe . We immediately rushed to the ER . There wasn’t much they can do bc i was pregnant the burn was only showing as a sunburn at the moment and my baby was okay. I was just freaking out and feeling like I was on fire. Once they released me I got home maybe midnight and my belly started to blister up . The next morning it was so horrible looking I couldn’t wear nothing but bra and boy shorts. Whenever my baby would kick it would be so painful. My little sister can over and made me some homemade aloe Vera wraps which helped a whole lot!! Luckily by time it was time to deliver my scar had started to heal so disrupting there. At the end I got my healthy baby boy 💙#storytime #lemon8contest #mybirthstory #lemon8challenge
