You guys, I'm still pinching myself after what just happened in Malta! Landing here, I honestly had no idea that within hours I'd be stepping onto the set of TVM, their national television station. It truly felt like a whirlwind, going from exploring this beautiful island to being told, 'Hey, want to be on TV?' My initial thought was, 'Wait, me? On Maltese TV? But I don't even speak Maltese!' It was such a wild, cool opportunity, I just had to say YES! The whole experience was surreal. First, heading to the studio felt like I was walking into a dream. I was definitely feeling nervous for a multitude of reasons, not least of which was the language barrier! But everyone was so supportive. Getting my makeup touched up and then getting a full tour of the facility was incredible. Seeing how everything works behind the scenes at Television Malta, which they called 'the Good Morning America of Malta,' really gave me a glimpse into that world. The team there was so welcoming and professional, making me feel right at home even with my pre-show jitters. It was fascinating to see the cameras, the lights, and all the preparation that goes into a live broadcast. Then, it was showtime! Being live on TV, knowing people across Malta were watching, was such an adrenaline rush. The host, Ian, was unbelievably charismatic and made the whole 17-minute segment fly by. We talked about my journey, my content, and what brought me to Malta. It didn't even matter that I don't speak Maltese, as the interview was in English, making it super accessible. It was a huge moment for me, ticking off a lifetime dream of getting a taste of what it's like to have my own morning talk show. I always imagined what it would be like, and this was an incredible 'into what that world is like.' Beyond the TV appearance, my time in Malta has been absolutely amazing. Every single Maltese person I've met has been so friendly and genuinely welcoming. It really added to the magic of this unexpected journey. From the vibrant culture to the stunning scenery, I can't wait to explore more of this beautiful country. This whole experience has taught me to always be open to incredible opportunities, no matter how unexpected they seem. Big shoutout to Luca for making this dream a reality!
