My travel mindset is all about immersing myself in the local culture, trying new things, and letting the city unfold before me. And honestly, Seville has not disappointed! From the moment I stepped off the plane, I was captivated by its unique charm. The scent of orange blossoms, the sound of flamenco echoing through narrow alleys – it’s truly a sensory feast. One of my biggest goals here is language learning. Spanish has always fascinated me, and what better place to practice than right here in Andalusia? It’s challenging, of course, but every successful interaction, even a simple 'Hola, ¿qué tal?', feels like a huge win. I'm hoping to share some of my tips and struggles as I try to become more fluent. Beyond language, I'm diving headfirst into the art and fashion scene. Seville is a city bursting with incredible architecture, from the stunning Alcázar to the majestic Cathedral. I've already spent hours just wandering, camera in hand, trying to capture the intricate details that make this city so special. And the fashion! Oh my goodness, the local style is so chic and effortless. I'm constantly getting inspiration for my own outfits of the day (OOTD) and can't wait to experiment with incorporating some of these Spanish influences into my wardrobe. Think flowy dresses, espadrilles, and beautiful, simple accessories. My days here are a mix of planned explorations and spontaneous discoveries. One day, I might be exploring a hidden patio, the next I'm trying to master the art of making a perfect paella in a cooking class (one of my many hobbies!). I'm also really into finding those cozy cafes for a morning coffee and people-watching – it’s a simple pleasure but so grounding. And yes, even my make-up routine has had to adapt to the warmer climate! I've been experimenting with lighter foundations and more natural looks, focusing on glowy skin. Living in Seville is truly an adventure. It’s not just about seeing the sights; it’s about embracing the rhythm of life here, connecting with people, and letting the city change me.
