Commonly known as "Abt-style railway" is a railway for steep slopes that climb up and down steep slopes using tooth-shaped rails called rack rails. The section from Abt-Ichishiro Station of Oigawa Railway to Nagashima Dam Station is "the steepest slope in Japan," and it seems to run as the only Abt-style railway in Japan ‼️
At the station, there is a promenade beside 🛤️ bridge tracks, and you can cross the bridge to the station.
At the station, there are also love spots and cafes ☕️, making it a place where you can relax and enjoy the superb view.
🚗 is good to drive, but while enjoying the scenery on the Oigawa Railway, this "Okuoi Kojo Station"
