Having a consistent sunscreen routine is a game changer for healthy skin, especially as we head into 2026 with more awareness about sun protection. From my personal experience, I found that rotating between different sunscreens depending on my day’s needs really helps maintain skin comfort and protection. For daily wear under makeup, I prefer lightweight, non-greasy formulas like Neutrogena® or Cetaphil SUN. These absorb quickly without leaving a white cast or interfering with foundation application. On days without makeup, I enjoy using mineral-based sunscreens or those designed for sensitive skin; they feel gentle and keep my face refreshed throughout the day. A few sunscreens I’m intentionally finishing are ones with texture or scents that don’t complement my daily routine, but they are still effective, illustrating the importance of both functionality and personal preference. For beach or vacation days, water-resistant options with broad-spectrum SPF 30 or SPF 50 provide peace of mind against strong sun exposure. Products like the "Vacation" brand sunscreen oil offer a nice balance of protection and an enviable glow, which is a definite bonus for summer fun. I encourage everyone to find their own ‘ride or die’ sunscreen by testing different types based on your activities and skin type.
