Day 3 of 30: The 10% challenge
Progress:
💰- 42.45
🗓️ - 3/30
Okay so we do need to reevaluate some things. I have not been using my stop loss and run I would have been at -$20 if I was following all the rules to this challenge.
I will make a new chart but I still think that I can get from 42 to 1700 in 30 days
If you missed day 1
I started with $100 and was supposed make 10% each day till I get to $1700 I know I’m at 42 rn but I do think I can reverse this around!
Let’s keep each other accountable!

The 10% challenge is an ambitious trading goal where the participant starts with $100 and aims to increase it by 10% every day for 30 days, ultimately reaching around $1700. This approach requires disciplined risk management, including the use of stop-loss orders to minimize losses and protect capital. By Day 3, the challenge has encountered some setbacks, emphasizing the importance of following strict trading rules. Without using the stop-loss, losses accumulated quickly, demonstrating how vital risk management techniques are in daily trading routines. Traders must learn to accept small losses and exit positions promptly to prevent significant drawdowns. The challenge also highlights the role of psychological resilience and recalibration, as the trader plans to create a new chart to reflect current progress and adjust strategies accordingly. This process of evaluation and adjustment is essential in any trading endeavor. Tracking metrics such as net account value, day’s profit and loss (P&L), and cash management provide critical insights into performance trends. Leveraging financial instruments like ETFs and options, as noted in the trades involving QQQ calls, adds complexity and requires deeper market understanding. Accountability is also an important factor mentioned, suggesting a community or peer support system to maintain motivation and discipline. Sharing experiences and strategies in forums tagged #trading, #optionstrading, #tradingchallenge, and #trades can enrich learning and help traders overcome challenges. For traders considering a similar journey, it’s crucial to develop a comprehensive trading plan, including clear entry and exit points, risk limits, and daily goals that are realistic and sustainable. Additionally, learning about options trading and understanding underlying market dynamics can improve success rates. In sum, while a 10% daily return is highly challenging and involves significant risk, consistent tracking, risk control, and community support are key factors that can improve the odds of success while protecting capital during inevitable downtrends.

Patience is not the options game but maybe you should try a fiat account 🍋
