my jc life vlog of the last 3 months left

heyy zesties, im back aft like weeks cuz ive been so busy mugging that im actually so drained. wouldnt say i was demoralised by the papers but i dont think i did excellently either but the grind gta continue. these 2 weeks were hell but ive gotten through it and i left 3 more papers. i really hate how spaced out the papers r as how does my exams end in 2 weeks js for that 2 papers. but wtv

oct was really the mugging month as i found myself in starbucks like 10 times that month. idk but i really love cafe hopping so since i prob wont be studying in starbucks anymore. ill leave my gotos in my prev post. my only motivation was checking down the papers from my spreadsheet

what ive accomplished:

- so for prelims revision ive finished all prelims papers for the subjs i take

- and b4 each paper resp ive finished my tys except for 2015,16 where syllabuses are diff so theres not much pt

- for math: i completed like 4 prelims from various schs 2025 prelims to prepare myself

- for chem: i did hci, and vjc 2025 prelims and i think they predicted the papers q well like one of them predicted the transition element def qn lol

- im abit behind on phys but ive got 3 days to phys so grind nvr ends here, im optimistic on my future ahead tho even though i think my life is glum now.

- for sept i did lose motivation a few times and escaped to msia for the weekends lol. went to putuo garden in jb and went on a shopping spree lol but p fun times tho

- in aug i felt kinda burnt out so i took a 14 mc leave and then went msia for a break LOL. did missed out on alot of sch b4 my prelims so dont recommend but it helped me put me back to the correct headspace

- was so behind in class once i was back but still caught up within the next few weeks lol

- ive been using cafes and flocus ambience mode to motivate myself to study. nowadays i find watching study vlogs or korean cafe vlogs motivating to help me study LOL. idk how that works but it helps. this gruelling year has finally moved to the end.

im planning to reveal my sch and subj combi in my next post aft i graduate and more of an ask me anyt (AMA) post and what i shld hv done or known as a Jc1 student. do leave in the comments if theres any suggestions for this post tho...

so to all J2s out there u got this, theres abt 13 days left till the end, end strong w no regrets! see yall in my next post!

... Read moreThroughout my JC2 journey, balancing intense study sessions with moments of rest was key to keeping my motivation alive. I spent many long hours at Starbucks, which basically became my second home. The cozy ambience and constant bustle somehow helped me focus better than studying at home. Plus, cafe hopping added a refreshing change of scenery that prevented monotony. One trick that really worked for me was setting a detailed spreadsheet to track all my past year papers and prelims completed. This gave me a sense of progress and motivated me to keep pushing even when I felt drained. I also found that switching on ambient study playlists or watching study and Korean cafe vlogs inspired me to keep going. It’s strange how watching others can boost your own productivity! Despite feeling burnt out at times—like in August when I took a 14-day MC leave—it was important to listen to my body. That break, though risky as I missed classes, helped me reset mentally and reclaim focus when I returned. Occasional short trips to Malaysia helped me unwind and recharge, so I could attack the next study phase with more energy. Regarding my exam prep, completing multiple prelim papers across schools really helped me get a diverse range of practice. For Chemistry, practicing different predicted papers enhanced my confidence, especially when some questions closely resembled study materials we covered. Although I was slightly behind in Physics, I dedicated my last few days to grind it out and stayed optimistic throughout. For those still facing their JC2 finals, my advice would be to mix disciplined study with breaks and find your motivation techniques—whether it’s cafe ambience, playlists, or peer support. Remember, it’s normal to feel down sometimes, but consistent effort and small rewards can keep you moving forward. Here’s to ending JC2 strong with no regrets!
