Art Dump!

So, what exactly is an 'art dump'? From my experience as an artist, it's essentially a compilation of recent, often unpolished, and sometimes unfinished artworks that an artist gathers and shares all at once. Think of it as a peek into our sketchbooks or digital folders – a raw showcase of our creative journey, practice pieces, and ideas in progress. It's a fantastic way to capture a snapshot of what we've been working on without the pressure of presenting a perfectly finished piece. Why do artists do art dumps? For me, it's a great way to clear out my working files, share a variety of works without dedicating a full post to each one, and honestly, to show genuine progress. It's not about perfection; it's about sharing the process. You'll often find things like quick character sketches, creature designs (like the ones with long bodies and antlers you might spot here!), or even just random doodles that sparked an idea.
