2026 Reads - The Bridge Back To You by Riss M Neilson
I had high hopes for this story after I’d seen so many great reviews. It wasn’t a bad read it was just a little boring for me. The characters were great and the story is fast pace which is part of the reason I didn’t DNF. But all in all it was an enjoyable enough read to finish. Thank you to NetGalley and Berkeley Publishing Group for this gifted e-Arc. ⭐️Overall rating: 3/5

Having read The Bridge Back to You by USA Today bestselling author Riss M. Neilson, I can personally attest to the tender and vibrant romance many readers praise. The story indeed captures breath-stealing moments, blending emotional depth with a fast pace. However, I found that while the characters were compelling and relatable, some parts of the narrative felt less engaging, leading to a slightly uneven reading experience. What stood out to me most was Neilson’s ability to develop characters that felt authentic and full of life. Their interactions created an emotional connection that made the romantic elements resonate deeply. The author’s style is accessible and heartfelt, a perfect fit for readers who enjoy contemporary romance with real-life complexities. That said, pacing was a bit of a double-edged sword. The story moved quickly, which helped maintain interest, but some plot points could have used additional depth to avoid feeling rushed. This fast pacing might work well for readers who prefer energetic narratives but may fall short for those who enjoy more detailed character backstory or slower-building tension. Overall, if you appreciate heartfelt romance with emotional vibrancy and don’t mind a few pacing imperfections, The Bridge Back to You will likely be an enjoyable read. Neilson’s talent shines brightest when delivering intimate, tender moments that truly capture the essence of romantic connection. For anyone curious about contemporary romance novels that combine spirited storytelling with deeply felt emotions, this book is worth considering.
