Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow
Being a SAHM who also works from home is always a blessing and a curse. Everyday is different and while we always strive to keep a routine sometimes it doesn’t work out. My little one is a blast of our chaos and sometimes my usual work time while she naps becomes a no nap or a fell asleep in my arms. My main constants in the morning have become caffeine and cuddles. I think a lot of us forget every now and again that it’s okay to get a little messy and such.
As a stay-at-home mom (SAHM), it's essential to embrace both the blessings and challenges of this lifestyle. The unpredictability of each day can be overwhelming, especially when routines are disrupted by a toddler's whims. Mornings can start with caffeine to boost energy levels, paired with the warmth of cuddles, establishing a sense of comfort in the chaos. Understanding that it's perfectly fine to deviate from the norm allows parents to maintain their well-being. Experts suggest that allowing for flexibility in daily routines can reduce stress and lead to a more meaningful connection with our children. Additionally, incorporating activities like morning ramen can add a fun and nutritious element to breakfast without spending too much time in the kitchen. The mom community often shares insights on making life less hectic, offering practical advice for spending quality time with children while managing work responsibilities. By connecting with fellow moms through platforms like social media, you can gain valuable tips on parenting, meal prep, and creating a balanced morning schedule that works for your family and individual needs.
