Losing someone dear is never easy, and expressing our emotions can bring comfort and healing. I’ve found that sharing personal messages like prayers and memories helps keep the spirit of loved ones alive in our hearts. The phrase "moe i ka maluhia" means "sleep in peace" in Hawaiian, symbolizing a wish for eternal calm and rest. In my own experience, writing down thoughts and feelings for someone who has passed helps me process grief and celebrate the good times we shared. It reminds me that although they are no longer physically present, their kindness and spirit continue to inspire us. Recognizing the pain and offering forgiveness — as in the message’s lines about not blaming the departed — can also be healing. It’s important to honor their life and remember them as a "ʻuhane lokomaikaʻi a mālama," or gentle and caring soul. Maintaining this connection through love and memories is how we keep them close, helping us find hope and strength amidst sorrow. This personal approach to coping with loss can provide peace not only to the departed but also to those left behind.

Kailei! I didn’t mean it like I committed. Don’t worry. I’m probably not gonna post anymore. I have been dealing with tons of friend issues and have been called rude many times in the past week. (I don’t think I am…) I may still post but definitely not as much. I’ll try my best to still see all of your posts! If I ever do commit I will definitely tell u first. Srry for the confusion! ❤️ ILY
