Many people may not know...

Diving (either Scuba, Snorkel, Freedive or even the first diving trial) has regulations to protect coral reefs and marine life. 🌏🐠

Most recently, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (TTC) has issued measures.

Re "Measures for the Protection of Coral Resources from Diving Tourism Activities" to enable marine tourism to remain sustainable for a long time ✨

👥 Controller-to-tourist ratio

▪️ Scuba (Scuba) → 1: 4

▪️ DSD or Try Dive Trial → 1: 2

▪️ Snorkel (Snorkel) and Freedive (Freedive) → 1: 20

▪️ Study and Deep Diving Exam → 1: 4

✅ Scuba Black Practice

▪️ The Scuba class prohibits teachers and students from carrying cameras underwater photography (except in the case of course taking pictures underwater). If taking pictures in course, one more separate photographer is required.

▪️ divers to hold a camera under water must have an Advanced or experienced card of at least 40 dips or more.

🥽 Snorkel snorkel practice

▪️ snorkel point. If it is a reef, the water must be more than 2 meters deep.

You have to wear a lifebuoy every time, but if you have a Scuba or Freediving card, you won't wear a lifebuoy.

▪️ Controller must test the tourist's ability to use fins before tourists enter the reef.

🚫 Joint prohibition for all activities 🚫

❌ prohibit controllers from moving living things to tourists.

❌ do not touch, do not kick, coral, aquatic or any living thing.

❌ do not drop sediment on the coral. Do not damage the coral.

❌ no feeding of aquatic animals, no dumping of waste into the sea, no Sea Walker activities or activities with walking on the sea floor.
