It's a "stain" born to solve a barista's job page... not born to shoot a story. 😏
1) First of all... what does the word Macchiato mean?
Macchiato = "stained / notched / marked"
Simply put, it's a "self-identification" word.
Like a barista shouting in her heart,
"This glass is not a pure espresso." 😂
2) Birth of macchiato = pure bar face problem
Back in Italy.
Busy coffee shop range, shot style, machine gun.
The problem is:
• Espresso Pure looks like
• A "little milk" espresso looks like
Because the crema is all negative...
So the barista made a clever way:
✅ Scoop the "drop" milk bubble onto the espresso page.
To clearly see the "white spot."
This is "sign" = Macchia.
3) Then why is the world confused?
Because the same word... there are "two universes." 💥
A) Espresso Macchiato (Authentic Italian)
• The coffee shot is a hero.
• Milk just "points."

4) What about "Caramel Macchiato"?
This is where the whole world "remembers the wrong name at the same time." 🤣
It's Latte Macchiato dressed up.

• Pour a shot on the bubble
• Dripping caramel to make life as sweet as the promise of a talker
It's delicious... it's not wrong.
Just, it's not an Italian macchiato, that's all. 😏

Time commands "Macchiato" to say this:
• Italian craving: "Espresso Macchiato - a shot with a dollop of foam."
• I want a big glass layer: "Latte Macchiato - milk first, espresso on top."
