Merchant Quest part 2!

After our initial attempt, we jumped back into the high seas for the second part of our Merchant Alliance quest in Sea of Thieves. If you're new to the game and wondering how to start quest sea of thieves, it's pretty straightforward. You just need to head to any outpost and find the Merchant Alliance representative, usually standing near the docks. They'll offer you a variety of voyages, often involving delivering animals or cargo to different locations like Galleon's Grave Outpost or Crook's Hollow. Our main goal was to continue leveling up our merchant alliance sea of thieves reputation, and through some chaotic trial and error, we've picked up a few tips. For instance, always double-check the map carefully before setting sail. In our last session, we made a grave mistake and sailed the wrong way entirely, heading towards The Reaper's Hideout when we should have been charting a course for Fort of the Damned! That alone cost us precious time and nearly our valuable cargo when we encountered some aggressive Reapers. When it comes to the best way to level Merchant Alliance, efficiency is key. We try to pick voyages that are close together or can be combined. Transporting golden animals usually gives the most reputation, but they are also the most fragile. Always keep an eye on the horizon, especially when carrying valuable goods. We once spotted two players (aka reapers) fighting each other near the Fort of the Damned and decided to steer clear, even if it meant taking a longer route past Kraken Watchtower. Better safe than sorry when you’re trying to deliver your goods! Another lesson learned from our father and sons first Merchant Alliance quest (and now part 2!) is to always have a plan B. Sometimes the designated outpost is too risky, or you find yourself ambushed by other pirates. Knowing alternative routes or islands like Shipwreck Bay where you can temporarily hide or repair can be a game-changer. Despite the navigation mishaps and the close calls, completing these deliver our goods quests with my boys is always a blast. It’s not just about the loot; it’s about the adventure, the teamwork, and the laughs we share, even when we can’t quite read the map coordinates properly! It’s all part of the fun of being a Sea of Thieves merchant alliance captain.
