The real work happens outside practice💪

One thing I’ve learned in gymnastics and through workouts is that consistency matters more than perfection. Some workouts feel amazing, and some are tough to get through, but showing up anyway is what counts. The work outside of gymnastics practice is just as important as the work inside the gym, and every little bit adds up over time.

... Read moreConsistency in training is a game changer, especially in disciplines that require strength, flexibility, and skill like gymnastics. From my own experience, I can attest that the work done outside the official practice sessions plays a massive role in your overall progress. Whether it's a challenging routine in a gym or a quick workout in a hotel room, every session contributes to your athletic journey. During a recent vacation in Naousa, Greece, I realized how important it is to keep the momentum going regardless of location. Staying active in a Greek hotel, even with limited equipment, helped me maintain muscle memory and conditioning. It’s motivating to see progress photos that show how consistency pays off over time. I’ve also found that the mindset of showing up despite obstacles is key. Some days the workouts feel lighter and more enjoyable, other days tougher and less exciting, but pushing through builds mental toughness alongside physical gains. The grind never truly stops, and that’s a truth every gymnast and fitness lover should embrace. Incorporating small daily habits, such as stretching or strength exercises, in between gymnastics practices can create a strong foundation for improvement. Brands like Nike, referenced in my workout gear, also support this philosophy by promoting consistent, anytime-anywhere fitness. Ultimately, combining disciplined practice with additional outside workouts leads to better performance and a more resilient body. Whether you’re training in a professional gym or a hotel room abroad, remember that every little effort counts toward your goals.
