Stress 🫥
Right now I am studying for my Masters in Psychology! I am currently taking a class that goes into detail about Biology in Psychology. 📚
Everyone goes through stress and if you don’t then damn you are blessed! But really, think about it. Every family member/friend/co-worker has been stressed at some point in their life. Did you know how fatal stress can actually be? Chronic stress can cause life long health issues to your body! It is super important to ask for help when you need it! You can also try researching some coping mechanisms or reaching out to your doctor to see what they would recommend! 💕
Tips for when you feel stressed:
🤍 Take slow deep breaths
🤍 ask yourself do you have any control in the situation?
🤍 ask yourself if this is something you need to worry about today!
🤍 go for a walk/ exercise
🤍 find your favorite tv show/movie and watch it!
🤍 read your favorite book
🤍 surround yourself with your family/friends (if wanted)
I know it’s easier said than done! These are just some things I do when I feel super stressed out. Do NOT be afraid to ask for help and remember it is always better to get everything on your mind out to someone you trust! Holding everything in just makes it worse on your body/health!
You are loved 💕

Stress is a common issue faced by many individuals today, and managing it effectively is crucial for maintaining overall well-being. Chronic stress, if left unaddressed, can lead to severe health complications such as anxiety, depression, and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, understanding stress management is vital. To start, engaging in regular physical activity can greatly reduce stress levels; exercise releases endorphins that enhance mood and promote relaxation. Incorporating mindfulness techniques, such as meditation and deep-breathing exercises, can also play a significant role in stress reduction. These practices encourage individuals to center themselves and focus on the present moment, minimizing overwhelming feelings. Additionally, establishing a support network is essential—talking to friends or family about one’s feelings can help alleviate stress and provide a sense of belonging. Furthermore, developing healthy routines, such as prioritizing sleep and maintaining a balanced diet, can significantly impact stress levels. Consider reducing caffeine and sugar intake as these can exacerbate feelings of anxiety. Ultimately, recognizing the signs of stress and addressing them promptly can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life. Remember, you are not alone in this journey, and seeking professional help when needed is a strong, positive step towards recovery.
