Trying to stay consistent 🤌
Workouts for the month. 💜
Hey everyone! If you're like me, trying to stay consistent with workouts can feel like a mountain sometimes. I’ve definitely had my ups and downs, but finding a structured plan that truly works for me has been a game-changer. That's why I'm so excited to share more about my 'NEW YEAR STRONG FOUNDATIONS' 6-week journey, which has truly helped me create a sustainable routine. This plan is designed specifically for beginners, whether you prefer working out at home or hitting the gym. All you really need is a set of dumbbells, and you're good to go! The beauty of these guided strength workouts is how they encourage you to focus on improving form first, then gradually challenge yourself by using heavier weights. It’s not just about lifting; it's about building a solid foundation, week after week. For instance, the plan includes dedicated days like 'ARMS STRONG TUESDAY', a quick '15MIN CORE WEDNESDAY', and a powerful 'FULL BODY BURN FRIDAY'. Beyond just following a plan, understanding how to create a workout plan that suits your own goals is crucial for long-term success. Start by defining what you want to achieve – strength, endurance, flexibility? Then, consider your schedule. A consistent 3-4 days a week is often more effective than sporadic intense sessions. Think about incorporating compound movements that work multiple muscle groups, similar to how the 'FULL BODY BURN' day ensures a comprehensive workout. Don't forget to schedule rest days; they are just as important for muscle recovery and growth! One area I've personally focused on, and which is highlighted in this plan, is 'BACK + ABS FOR POSTURE'. Back strength training is incredibly important, not just for aesthetics but for everyday functional movement and preventing injuries. Weak back muscles can contribute to poor posture and discomfort. Simple exercises like rows (dumbbell rows are great!), pull-aparts with a resistance band, or even just focusing on engaging your core during other lifts can make a huge difference. I've noticed a significant improvement in my own posture since prioritizing these movements. While the plan mentions 'NO LUNGES MONDAY', don't shy away from other fantastic lower body exercises like squats! Exploring 'squats variations' can add immense value to your routine. Beyond the classic goblet squat, you could try sumo squats for inner thigh engagement, or even incorporate pulse squats for an extra burn. Squats are brilliant for a 'FULL BODY BURN' because they engage your glutes, quads, hamstrings, and even your core for stability. They're foundational for building lower body strength and power. Ultimately, staying consistent boils down to finding joy in the process and celebrating small victories. Don't be afraid to adjust your plan as you go, listening to your body. Remember, every workout is a step forward, no matter how small. Let's keep showing up for ourselves!
