HOW MY HAIR WENT FROM THIS TO THAT!

so basically my body decided to go through a phase and make all my gorgeous mid-back length hair fall out and become so brittle. i went on a hair care journey to grow her back! 1 year later it’s grown so many inches and here is how:

•first i cut all my hair to once length-ish which was just reached my collarbone and to my chin for some parts

•next i washed my hair with the Hask shampoo (pic 6) every day of the week for a couple months until i found the Pantene shampoo (pic 5). so i started a schedule..i used the Pantene mon-fri and the Hask sat & sun..which im still doing to this day

•as for the hair masks i used the Hi-Pro-Pac keratin protein mask (pic 7) just about every other day till it ran out. after that i alternated between Hi-Pro-Pac damaged hair repair (pic 2) and Shea Moisture mask (pic 3) every couple days so that i at least did them both once a week. more recently i found the Hask hair and scalp treatment (pic 4) which idk if that helps my hair grow or not but it makes my hair and scalp feel so smooth and refreshed!

•as for the last two oils.. the Hask argon oil (pic 8) i would apply to my damp/wet hair after every shower and as for the Mielle strengthening oil (pic 9) i would apply this on days where i was home, put my hair in a bun, or would shower hours later because it would make my hair very greasy

from a girl who never would cut her hair and could only grow it an inch a year please take my advice if you want to grow your hair back healthier, stronger, thicker, and longer!!!!! 🙃

... Read moreOkay, so many of you have asked me, 'Where did you find all these amazing products and tips?' And honestly, that's a super valid question! When I started my hair growth journey, I was pretty overwhelmed by all the options out there. But through trial and error, and a lot of research, I discovered a few key places and strategies that helped me put together my winning routine. First off, don't feel like you have to break the bank! A lot of the products I used are surprisingly accessible. For staple shampoos and conditioners like the Pantene Nutrient Blends Unbreakable Lengths or the Hask Biotin Boost Thickening Shampoo, I usually found them at my local drugstores like CVS, Walgreens, or even larger supermarkets. They often have sales, so keep an eye out for those! The same goes for the Hask Argan Oil from Morocco Repairing Shine Hair Oil – usually right there on the hair care aisle. When it came to the more intensive treatments, things got a little more specific. The Hi-Pro-Pac Keratin Protein No-Frizz Hair Intense Protein Treatment and the Hi-Pro-Pac Extremely Damaged Hair Repair Intense Protein Treatment sachets were often found in the 'ethnic' or 'specialty' hair care sections of drugstores, or sometimes at dedicated beauty supply stores like Sally Beauty. I also had great luck finding them online through Amazon or other beauty retailers, especially if I was buying a few at once. For the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner and their other masks, I've seen these widely available at Target, Walmart, and drugstores. Shea Moisture is pretty popular, so it's usually easy to spot. The Hask Tea Tree Oil & Rosemary Hair & Scalp Treatment Mask was also typically found alongside other Hask products. Now, for a product like the Mielle Rosemary Mint Strengthening Oil, while it's gained a lot of popularity recently, I found it was sometimes a bit harder to snag in physical stores due to demand. My best bet for Mielle was usually online retailers. Always check their official website or reputable beauty e-commerce sites to ensure you're getting genuine products. Sometimes, smaller beauty supply stores might carry it too. Beyond just where to buy, here are a few extra tips I picked up: Read Reviews: Before committing to a new product, especially if it's a bit pricier, always check online reviews. See what others with similar hair types and concerns are saying. Check Ingredients: I became a label reader! Understanding what ingredients work best for your hair (and what to avoid) can save you a lot of trial and error. Buy in Bundles/Sales: If you find something you love, keep an eye out for sales or value packs. This saves money in the long run. Don't Be Afraid to Look Online: If your local stores don't carry a specific product, the internet is your friend. Just make sure to buy from trusted sources. My journey taught me that finding the right products is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s about being patient, understanding your hair's needs, and knowing where to look. With a little persistence, you’ll be able to gather your own arsenal of hair growth heroes, just like I did!
