... Read moreAs someone who loves mobile photography, I've witnessed how optical zoom capabilities have improved drastically over the past few years. Currently, top flagship phones achieve close to 10x optical zoom, sometimes pushing digital zoom beyond 50x, but often with compromised image quality. Imagining 2026 bringing at least 100x zoom sounds ambitious but incredibly exciting. In my experience, zooming beyond 10x without quality loss always seemed unrealistic, yet phone manufacturers are innovating with periscope lenses and AI-powered enhancement to push these boundaries. A 100x zoom will allow us to capture incredible detail from far distances—think of snapping wildlife photos without disturbing animals or capturing distant architecture during travels. Of course, with higher zoom levels come challenges like image stabilization, clarity, and light sensitivity. Improving these factors will be crucial to ensure practical use. As smartphones become our primary cameras, having such powerful zoom will enhance versatility without needing bulky equipment. Personally, I believe this evolution will also spur creativity among mobile photographers and content creators. Imagine vlogging or documenting scenes with rich detail impossible before, all from a pocket-sized device. The 100x zoom trend isn’t just a tech spec—it’s a game changer for how we perceive and share our world through screens. With upcoming devices like the Oppo Find X8 Pro already pushing for high zooms (120x digital zoom), it’s clear manufacturers are committed to this direction. Keeping an eye on these advancements while practicing photo skills will let us make the most of what future smartphones will offer.

I never liked babies but then I became a mom
I’ll be honest. Before becoming a mom, I never really liked kids. I loved my freedom. I loved quiet spaces. I loved doing whatever I wanted. And I genuinely thought motherhood just… wasn’t for me. Then I had my daughter. And wow… nothing could have prepared me for this. Motherho

In Singapore, it is SUPER RARE to find a girl my height. For context, I’m 1.85m. I’ve come to accept that Singapore is not meant for tall people: clothes are more catered to skinnier and smaller sized women and public transport is made for shorter people e.g. leg space in the bus, having to bend do
