It feels amazing to finally open up on Lemon8! My first post was just a quick hello, but I really want to share a bit more about what makes me, well, me! As a 31-year-old stay-at-home mom to four amazing kids, life is definitely a whirlwind. Every day is an adventure, from juggling school runs and meal preps to finding those precious moments for myself. It’s a job full of love, laughter, and sometimes, a little bit of chaos – but I wouldn't have it any other way. Being bilingual, my brain really does work in interesting ways, constantly switching between English and Spanish. My Cuban roots are a huge part of who I am, influencing everything from the food I cook for my family to the music we listen to at home. I'm excited to share glimpses into my heritage and perhaps even some traditional recipes here on Lemon8. I’ve always found that embracing my culture adds such a rich layer to my everyday life, and I hope it will resonate with some of you! Beyond managing a busy household, I have a few passions that help keep me grounded and inspired. Fashion, for example, is something I truly love. As a stay-at-home mom, finding stylish yet practical outfits is key, and I’m always on the lookout for new trends and ways to express myself through clothing. You can expect to see some of my favorite fashion finds and style sets here soon. I also love to immerse myself in a good book whenever I get a quiet moment – it’s my little escape. And yes, our home is filled with plants and furry animals! They bring so much joy and a touch of nature indoors. Travel and food are also huge loves of mine. While big trips might be a bit challenging with four little ones, I dream of exploring new places and experiencing different cultures, which often translates into trying new recipes in my kitchen. From comforting family meals to experimenting with global flavors, I find so much happiness in cooking and sharing food. I'm really looking forward to connecting with this community, sharing more about my daily life, my interests in travel and fashion, and maybe even some tips on balancing it all with a house full of kids.
