The Demon and the Prince
They call me a demon,
A shadow in the night,
A soul stitched together
From battles and fights.
My hands carry scars,
My heart bears the flame,
I’ve walked through the darkness
And learned every name.
I’ve been anger and chaos,
A storm without end,
The villain in stories
No hero could mend.
But then there was her.
She looked through the smoke,
Past the horns they imagined,

She saw something noble

A prince hidden quietly
Beneath weathered skin.
She touched all the pieces
I tried hard to hide,
And somehow found beauty
In the monster inside.
So if I’m a demon,
Then she’s heaven’s proof,
That love can build castles
From a shattered roof.
The world sees a creature
Too damaged to save,
But she sees a prince
Standing tall and brave.

I believe she might be right
