My husband and I had the adventure of a lifetime for our honeymoon—we went to Italy! 🇮🇹
It was our first time visiting, and before we left, I had the brilliant idea to pack my Polaroid camera. Let me tell you, that little camera was an absolute game-changer. I'm now completely obsessed with how the photos turned out—each shot is like a snapshot of pure magic.
But when we got home, I found myself in a bit of a dilemma. I didn’t want these beautiful memories to end up forgotten in a drawer. So, after some digging and inspiration hunting, I came up with a creative way to showcase them: a memory frame filled with not just the photos, but also the little keepsakes we picked up along the way.
Here’s how I did it:
I made a quick trip to HomeGoods and grabbed an 11x14 frame.
Then I swung by Michael’s and picked up some scrapbook cardstock, along with Scotch tape and glue for the project.
To create the perfect background, I used the insert picture from the frame as a handy template to precisely measure the scrapbook paper. A light touch of glue on the back of the scrapbook paper, evenly spread with a paintbrush, gave the paper a flawless, smooth finish. Then, I carefully adhered it to the original picture from the frame.
And now for the fun part: arranging the memories. I scattered the Polaroid photos across the frame, mixing in tickets from the places we visited, along with a special touch—our wedding Thank You card placed in the center. After all, we couldn’t leave out the fact that we captured wedding pictures in Italy, too!
The end result? A beautiful, personalized frame that instantly brings our honeymoon memories to life, every time I look at it.🤍
