2025 was the year I truly learned to fall in love again and again, in new and beautiful and heartbreaking complex ways.
It was my most prolific year for painting as I adjusted to living a totally new lifestyle. I moved closer to friends, im meeting so many amazing people and building a real foundation to stand on.
💕💕
I started ‘25 with having a brush in facing my mortality, and when spring came around i was able to truly weep from the gratitude i felt when I realized i really do want to be a part of this beautiful messy world.

One of the most profound lessons that i learned this year was that the real leap of faith wasnt jumping into the unknown— I’ve done that countless times— it was a complete mind shift to taking accountability for myself. It was facing the things that i knew were good for me even if that meant leaving behind ways of living that i thought were what i needed.
I shifted away from who i would be most proud of, who i thought i l would look up to when i was young, and decided to embody the reality of who i need now.
It’s still a work in progress, the work is never done… but for the first time i can face myself fully, and bask in everything i have built-even the hard parts.
I’m finally looking forward to a brighter tomorrow because I have no one and nothing to blame but myself. 💕
I’m grateful for the steps i took in life to arrive where i am. Im grateful that in my 20s i spent so much time f**king around and finding out and how many amazing and horrible things happened in that time so that i could get to where I am now and know what it is to breathe and appreciate ever passing moment of it.
I’m grateful for my all-or-nothing mentality leading up to now so that i can differently enjoy calm waters… 💕
