Building my Lemonade business from the Ground up….Episode 7 🍋
Episode 7 is here! 💛🍋
One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned as a business owner is that not everyone is going to support your dream—and that’s okay.
Sometimes the people you expect to cheer you on the loudest won’t. It might not be your friends or even your family buying from you every week.
But here’s the beautiful part…
Complete strangers can become your biggest supporters. ❤️
Some of my best customers started out as strangers. They believed in my business, shared my posts, referred their friends, and kept coming back. Those strangers turned into real relationships, and that’s one of the most rewarding parts of owning a business.
Don’t waste your energy chasing support from people who aren’t interested. Focus on serving the customers who show up, appreciate every order, and build genuine relationships with the people who believe in what you’re creating.
Your community will find you—just keep showing up.
Follow along as I continue sharing the real lessons I’ve learned while building Glow Up Lemon Co., one lemonade at a time! 🍋✨

Starting my own small business has been a journey full of ups and downs, and Episode 7 really highlights a truth many entrepreneurs face – not everyone will back your dream. At first, I was surprised and sometimes disheartened when close friends or family didn’t become my regular customers or champions. But what really shifted was realizing that genuine support often comes from unexpected places. I’ve found that complete strangers can become my most loyal customers. These people believe in what I’m building, share my posts, and bring their friends along for the ride. It has been incredible to see how these relationships grow naturally over time. Treating every order with care and appreciation helped me transform those initial interactions into meaningful connections. One piece of advice I often share with other small business owners is not to exhaust yourself trying to win over everyone. There will always be some people who aren’t interested, and that’s perfectly okay. The energy you pour into serving the community that shows up for you is far more impactful. Over time, through consistency and authenticity, your community will find you. From my personal experience, leveraging social media to share honest stories about building Glow Up Lemon Co. has been a game-changer. It not only attracts customers but also fosters trust and emotional connection. When people see the real, behind-the-scenes struggles and victories, they feel involved and excited to support. Remember, business growth happens one step at a time – or in my case, one lemonade at a time! Keeping a positive mindset and continuing to learn from every experience has been essential. If you’re starting out or feeling discouraged, keep showing up and focus on those who believe in what you’re creating. Your dream community and support system are waiting to grow with you.
