Ford GT Race Car Nürburgring Flying Lap

I recently spent quite some time practicing with the Ford GT Race Car Gr.3 on the Nürburgring Grand Prix track in Gran Turismo 7, and I can say it’s one of the most satisfying simracing experiences out there. The combination of the historic Nürburgring layout and the precision engineering of the Ford GT makes for a challenging yet rewarding flying lap. What I found most helpful was focusing on hitting the apexes perfectly, especially in the tighter corners where the Ford GT’s grip and aerodynamics really shine. Using the virtual reality mode enhanced the immersion tremendously, allowing me to judge braking points and cornering lines more intuitively. The car responds well to subtle throttle modulation, so dialing in a smooth power delivery helped shave seconds off my lap times. One tip for fellow simracers aiming to improve with this setup is to study onboard laps from top players and then replicate the lines while concentrating on consistency rather than outright speed initially. Gradually, as muscle memory builds, pushing for faster lap segments becomes more natural.
