FINISHED 04/06/25 5/5⭐️’s. Let me preface this by saying, before this book- I was a Freida McFadden virgin…. I devoured this book, (it took me longer than I wanted to due to school) but I indeed, couldn’t stop reading. This exceeded my expectations. And that twist, fresh and new in my opinion. I’ve never seen a book done like this. And in my honest opinion, it was better reading it now that the cast was announced because now I cannot wait to see this movie. Especially Brandon Skelnar as Andrew. IYKYK?!?? Am I right?? I loved how swiftly this novel moved. And I can’t wait to read the next one, but will space it out. My next read coming up is Michelle Remembers by Lawrence Pazder and Michelle Smith, which relied on the discredited practice of recovered-memory therapy to make sweeping, lurid claims about Satanic ritual abuse involving Smith, which contributed to the rise of the Satanic panic in the 1980s.
